Sebastian Sielemann studied Civil Engineering with a focus in Transportation Science in Hannover, Germany. After working for a local consulting company, he joined PTV Group in 2005. He worked for Public Transport Consulting conducting cost-benefit analyses for national projects. Today he is Product Manager for the macroscopic modeling tool PTV Visum. Therefore, his aim is to support planners and operators with tools to empower sustainable Public Transport, the backbone of livable cities.
