And it will continue to do so. In the Danish capital, 62% of the\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">inhabitants<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0bike to work, school or university. When asked about the reason, they do not name health, environmental awareness or money saving, but effectiveness \u2013 because it is the best and fastest way to get from A to B.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">&#8220;The expansion of the bicycle route network of course plays a pivotal role in promoting bicycle use. And this does not only apply to cities, but also to the surrounding areas, e.g. by providing cycle highways that connect cities and rural areas,\u201d explains Peter Lange. \u201c<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Intermodality<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">,\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">in particular the<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0integration of cycling and public transport, is another important factor. For example, in Copenhagen, cyclists are interviewed about relevant issues such as infrastructure and the level of perceived safety for the biennial bicycle report. Singapore, the highly urbanized metropolis, which plans to build 700 km of cycling paths by 2030, is also relying on the public. What does the interaction with other road users look like? How can we provide green waves that serve cyclists?&#8221; outlines Jochen\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Lohmiller<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, Product Manager at PTV. &#8220;Before implementing costly infrastructure projects, it therefore makes sense to take a close look at the various measures.
